PHOTOGRAPHY & ART DIRECTION

I’m a Manhattan based photographer and visual designer. I received my BFA in photography from The University of Iowa nearly a decade ago, and have been working in various aspects of the field since 2012.

Color and character are the fascination driving my work. I chase the kind of moments that feel slightly out of place, like a still from a film that never got made.

I explore dark exposures and rich color schemes on DSLR these days, but my first love was black and white large format analog. Now, as a working artist, I hold appreciation for the traditionalists of the craft in my play of contemporary quirk.

ART PLACEMENT

Since 2019, I have worked as an art consultant, connecting artists with both private collectors and galleries to create exceptional collections. I serve as a bridge to the creative and commercial sides of the art world, ensuring that each artwork finds its ideal setting and audience.

Whether collaborating with emerging artists or established institutions, I focus on aligning artistic vision with curatorial and collector interests, facilitating placements that enhance both personal and public spaces.
